In January of 2014, we visited Pindaya, a town in the Shan State of Burma which is famous for its limestone caves, its attractive lakeside setting, and the traditional Shan paper umbrellas that are manufactured there.
We stayed at Pindaya hotel, lovely and comfortable but rugged up as it got freezing at night. 🙂
Somehow, it was a soothing retreat that we played team building games, visited many pagodas, traveled around the town and had fun together in hiking. On the way back home, we had a chance to visit the famous market in Kalaw as well.
